JAMMU: The Government had approved the Physical Education course (B.P.Ed. 2 years) in private Sector. The approval has been sanctioned to Trikuta College of Physical Education, Nardni-Raipur, near Kot Bhalwal Jail, here. The college is affiliated to University of Jammu with intake capacity of 50 seats.
The admission process of this course has already been started by the University of Jammu for the session 2020-2021.
Students of this Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir were earlier going outside the UT for Physical Education Courses mostly in Punjab, Haryana and Maharashtra which are considered as hub of Physical Education courses. Now the students of the UT will get this opportunity at their native place. This is the first college in private sector in Jammu.
