JAMMU: Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department daily wagers, who are on strike for the last 68 days, continued protest demanding regularisation of their services.
“We have been working in the department for the last two decades, but we have not been regularised till now,” said Association President Tanveer Hussain. The association alleged that the previous government framed high-powered committees before the presentation of the budget, but did not bother about the plight of casual labourers.
