JAMMU: The combined side of Post Graduate (PG) Departments shall take on Government SPMR College of Commerce in the final of Kho-Kho in the inter-college competitions, organised by the Department of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu on the campus, here on Monday.
Earlier, in the semifinals, played on Sunday, PG Departments made it a big three points and an innings win against Government Degree College (GDC) Kathua. In other semifinal of the day, Commerce College outplayed Government MAM College by a similar margin of an innings and five points.
In the women’s kho-kho competition, Government College for Women (GCW) Gandhi Nagar trounced Government Women College Udhampur by an innings and four points.
In another match of the day, GDC Kathua qualified for the semifinals. In the quarterfinals, GDC Kathua defeated SVS Chann Rorian by seven points.
Sunday’s matches were officiated by the technical penal comprising Gagan Kumar, Anil Sharma, Anil Kumar, Ankush Sharma and Abhishek Sharma.
