UDHAMPUR: Against unscheduled power cuts in Udhampur city and all villages in the district, the people of villages Kambal Danga, Neely Nallah, Padanoo, Rehambal, Garhi, Tikri, Battal Ballian other villages including city haled a protest against Power Development Department and blocked National Highway in Udhampur on Thursday.
They staged protest seeking immediate intervention of respective authorities of PDD to provide respite to the people from scheduled and unscheduled power cuts. Locals warned the authorities to improve the power situation or face a prolonged agitation.
