SRINAGAR: President KDF Khwaja Farooq Renzushah addressed a rally at Nowhatta Chowk, here on Sunday.
He said that not only the people of Srinagar city but the entire valley has been annoyed on the indifferent attitude of political parties including NC, PDP, Congress and BJP their utter neglect regarding the development of the region.
He said that these parties have eroded the ethical basis of Valley by promoting culture of intoxicants, immorality, crime against women, etc. Recalling the incidents of 2010 in which several youth lost their life, Renzushah said that ruling parties eulogised the killers rather than feeling remorseful. He said that Omar stance on AFSPA is also dubious and people cannot rely on his flickering statements over the issue. “Omar should have resigned on 2010 killings, if his police officers defied his orders. He should have resigned when Afzal Guru was hanged as he was informed prior to hanging”, he maintained.
He also criticised PDP for its negative role in the politics of Valley.
Describing Sheikh Firdous as real son of the soil, he said that it was people of Khanyar, Nallah Mar, Nawa Kadal, Bulbul Lankar, Nowhatta, Rajouri Kadal and Gojwara who have selected him to be their representative. Lauding the credentials of Firdous, he said that Ali Mohammad Sagar and Khurshid Alam stands nowhere against KDF candidate. He appealed to voters for supporting KDF to ensure all round development and curbing immorality from valley.
