JAMMU: S. Ajit Singh Adyal, President, The J&K UT Pensioners and Civil Society Association, Jammu in his press statement stated that the Central Govt hiked medical allowance to Rs. 1000 since January 1, 2016 in favour of Central Govt. employees and pensioners. It is need of the hour to hike medical allowance in favour of J&K UT employees and pensioners at par with Central Govt. pattern. In this connection Ajit urged the J&K UT Govt to hike the medical allowance to Rs. 1000 per month in favour of J&K Employees and Pensioners at par Central Govt. pattern so that employees and pensioners may not suffer mentally and get some relief.
