Peer Panjal major sufferer of successive regimes: Haq Insaaf Council

POONCH: A deputation of Haq Insaaf Council met Abdul Rehman Veeri Minister for R and B and Parliamentary Affairs at Dak Bunglow Poonch. While briefing the minister, State President Zeshan Syed criticised the government for its callous attitude towards the Peer Panjal Region. He maintained that the road connectivity in the Peer Panjal Region is in dilapidated condition and needs immediate intervention of the minister concerned knowing the fact that SK Bridge which was washed away in 2014 floods has not been restored from then.Zeshan further stated that students of district Poonch are in search of Jammu University Poonch campus for which late Mufti Muhammad Sayeed had laid foundation stone in the previous regime , but the government is least bothered about it, which shows the apathy of the government. He demanded to create employment opportunities for educated unemployed youth of the region and to implement the schemes of Union as well as State Government for the unemployed youth in its true spirit. He also urged the minister to execute the policies of State Government grass root level for the uplift of the masses residing in Peer Panjal Region. Minister gave patient hearing to the deputation and assured them of early redressal of their points.Others who were present on the occasion include Yonus, Nadeem, Irfan, Sawal, Shahbaz, Shehriar and Kamran.
