JAMMU: Peepal Tree School organised five-day Faculty Training Programme in association with the Intellisis Private Limited, a leading solution provider in North India for schools.
This programme included different teaching skills, activity based learning and seminars and a participatory approach to theme based programme for each and every level of the school, other educational methods such as small group exercises, management games and presentations.
This programme helped the faculty members in assumption that they can positively affect how faculty teach, which in turn will help students learn.
The tips that how to make classroom sessions interesting for kids were provided, how to make topics more interesting by doing activities, narrating stories through puppet and dramatization of stories was held.
The Intellisis programme provides teachers with background knowledge and seminar leadership skills required to deliver to the small children, the theme based training helps the teachers with extensive opportunities to practice teaching skills.
The programme also covered control of session, promotion of understanding, promotion of self direct learning i.e. learning by doing. Trustee Aakash Singh thanked all the teachers for their cooperation and professional approach.
