PDP ex-servicemen organisational meet held

HIRANAGAR: A meeting of JKPDP Ex-Servicemen Wing was held at Kattl Chowk, Hiranagar on Sunday which was presided over by Capt. Anil Gour, State President Ex-Servicemen Wing and attended by Maj. Gen R.S Jamwal, Co-ordinator Kathua Lok Sabha Constituency and Rajender Singh Manhas, State Vice President Youth Wing.

A large number of ex-servicemen from village Tapyal, Samoora, Jandi, Sherpur, Harsath, Bandhore and adjoining villages attended the meeting and discussed the various problems being faced by them due to the apathy of the successive and present State Govt.

Capt. Anil Gour congratulated all the ex-servicemen of Hiranagar as today they were getting a working team to help them in solving their day to day problems.
He informed the gathering that the present NC-Congress Govt in the State did nothing for implementing the Re-Employment Reservation Policy for jobs in State Govt. for ex-servicemen; priority dealing of revenue problems of ex-servicemen and earmarking of land for the establishment of Sainik Colonies in the State.
He exhorted all the participants to mobilise maximum number of ex-servicemen to join JKPDP Ex-Servicemen Wing to strengthen the hands of Mufti Mohd Sayed and Mehabooba Mufti.
All participants present, pledged to work for the PDP Candidate by raising their hands.

He also announced a 10-member office bearers committee of Hiranagar Zone to include HC Rajesh Kumar as President, Ris. Dassi Ram -Vice President, Insp Nagar Mal-Vice President, ASI Kuldeep Singh Bhadwal-General Secretary, Naib Sub Ram Paul-Secretary, Hav. Rattan Chand-Secretary,
Nk. Surinder Singh-Secretary, GD. Madan Gopal -Chief Organiser, HC Yash Pal Sharma-Chief Organiser
and Naib. Ris Bansi Lal as Treasurer.

Others who also spoke on the occasion -Gurprasad Verma Distt. President Kathua Urban, Adv. Ganga Ram Sharma Distt. President Kathua Rural, Suraj Prakash, Gopal Das and Devinder Singh.
