JAMMU: Jagti Tenement Committee and Soan Kashmir Front J and K appealed to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Congress and independent candidates to take immediate steps in formation of government so that the sufferings of the general masses are mitigated.
A joint meeting of the Jagti Tenement Committee and Soan Kashmir Front was held under its President Shadi Lal Pandita.
Pandita said that in case PDP forms government with Congress, the Front will extend its full support to this government. He said that the BJP leaders during Lok Sabha elections had assured rehabilitation of the Kashmiri Pandit Migrant Community and employment to the educated youth but nothing has been done so far.
Pandita appealed to the government to ensure permanent rehabilitation of Kashmiri Migrant Pandit community in three satellite townships near Srinagar city.
Among others who were present in the meeting include Rattan Lal Bhat, Rajinder Dhar, S.N Gurtoo, Ramesh Bhat, Methan Pandita, M.L Pandita and Sunil Raina.
