JAMMU: With Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) coming to power the situation in Jammu and Kashmir State especially Jammu City is bound to change for better, said party candidate from Jammu East Assembly segment, Bharat Chowdhary adding that he will make sure that his slogan Sabke liye–Sabke Sath– Hamesha, is practically practiced and implemented.
Bharat Chowdhary, further intensifying his election campaign, on Tuesday visited various areas of the Old Jammu City like Rajiv Colony, Fattu Chogan, Purani Mandi, Pacca Danga, Rani Park and Khilloney Wali Gali.
Like all other parts these areas also present the same picture of utter neglect and lack of any real development, he said adding that it reflects on the inefficiency of previous MLAs that residents of Jammu City have to suffer persistent shortage of drinking water.
Only reason being total disregard towards genuine issues and concerns of the people, by both BJP as well as Congress, he said.
Various schemes to augment the water supplies are announced but people have to wait for years to see any tangible results, he disclosed.
It was also observed that instead of any real development, politics of name Plates has been carried out. Projects have simply not been started after inauguration by some VIP or have been allotted to some favourite contractors who have simply siphoned off majority of funds meant for public he mentioned and added that there is no real infrastructure like Lanes, water pipes or sanitation.
To overcome problem unemployment, Bharat while interacting with the people assured them that a massive boost to tourism will be given to open up job avenues for the young.
