NOWSHERA: The Nowshera Police during wee hours on Saturday recovered the body of one Shafayat Ahmed son of Mushtaq Ahmed resident of Rajal and shifted it to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Nowshera. The deceased was an employee of the Power Development Department (PDD).
The SHO Nowshera Kuldeep Raj immediately on receipt of the information reached the spot at Rajal and shifted the body to SDH for post mortem. The body was later handed over by the police to his family members who alleged that the youth has been murdered and demanded immediate arrest of the killers. They kept the body of deceased on road and blocked Jammu – Poonch National Highway.
SDM Nowshera Harbans Lal Sharma along with ASP Rakesh Kumar and SDPO Sargun Shukla reached the spot and pacified the relatives of the youth who lifted Dharna and the traffic was resumed after two hours.
