BUDGAM: An award ceremony for international Tong-Il-Moo-Do players of Kashmir organised by Spring Buds Educational Trust Ompora in collaboration with J and K Police and Serving Nations was held at Sheikh ul Aalam Hall, here on Saturday.
District Development Commissioner (DDC) Mir Altaf Ahmad and SSP Budgam, Abdul Waheed Shah were present on the occasion.
A cash award of Rs 3,000 was given to each athlete who participated in Tong-Il-Moo-Do event held in Bhutan.
The DDC, who is also the Chairman of District Sports Council, lauded the efforts of the sportsmen and urged them to continue hard work to bring laurels for the State.
