JAMMU: Dhiman Parija, a Mechanical Engineer by profession has assumed additional charge of Executive Director, NHPC Limited, Region-Jammu with effect from April 1, 2018.
He was welcomed at Jammu by senior officers of NHPC and employees of Regional Office, Jammu. He shall be responsible for all operating NHPC Power Stations in the State of J&K.
Parija is a competent professional with over three decades of extensive experience in Hydro Power Sector and was very instrumental in completion of 390MW Dulhasti Power Station in Kishtwar of J&K State during his earlier assignments in the State.
Presently Parija is also having the charge of Executive Director Region-Banikhet for all operating power stations in the District of Chamba (Himachal Pradesh).
