JAMMU: Parent Teacher Meeting for classes Pre Nursery to 10th was organised at JK Public School (JKPS) Panjtirthi in three sessions.
This two way communication promoted the bond among parents and teachers and led to innovative ideas to contribute to the overall development and well being of child.
The class teachers handed over the answer sheets of first unit examination to the parents to promote transparency and to enable the children and their parents to ensure that the child does not repeat the same mistakes in future.
The best part was that all the subject teachers were available for improvement of academic performance of each child in each subject.
The teachers spoke to them at length regarding their child’s performance which helped them to overcome their shortcomings.
The Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi Suman Banbah educated and guided the parents as to how they should be handling their children to get the best out of them in all spheres whether it is discipline, academic, games and their behaviour both at home and school.
Each parents was dealt individually. She explained few tips to the parents to inculcate certain required qualities and values among children and to increase their concentration power and confidence. The parents felt relaxed and stress free after the counselling session. They were determined and clear as to how they have to solve the problems of their children without punishing and burdening them and how to extract the best out of them.
