Panthers protest against Govt for ignoring Saddal residents

UDHAMPUR: Panthers Party hold a protest on Thursday under the leadership of Balwant Singh Mankotia President JKNPP along with local public of Saddal village of Panchari who were effected in the year September 2014 due to flash flood and heavy rain in which 40 people were buried alive.
While speaking on the occasion, Mankotia said that during flash flood around 150 were forced to migrate after sliding their houses and agriculture land,he said that these people are visiting quater to pillar for compensation but nobody paid heed to their genuine problem neither the state Govt took seriously their compensation and rehabilitation case nor central government, he added that after flash flood locale member parliament and minister in prime minister office Dr Jatinder Singh announced Saddal village to be develop as Adarsh village but after lapse of more two years not even single development wore has been taken up for execution and no road map has been adopted for the rehabilitation of badly affected people.
Mankotia warned the State as well as Central Government for rehabilitation and compensation at the earliest otherwise get ready to face the consequences. Later deputation of these aggrieved people also met with deputy commissioner Udhampur and demand for their rehabilitation as early as possible, deputy commissioner assured the agitating people that he sought out the issue with in weeks time.
