JAMMU: Swami Nitya Nand Wrestling Association Panthal is organising 117th Panthal Kesari Vishal Dangal at Panthal in district Reasi on 14th January under the aegis of J and K Indian Style Wrestling Association.
This was decided in a meeting of the association held under the chairmanship of Shiv Kumar Sharma, President of the J and K Indian Style Wrestling Association.
Others who attended the meeting were Prittam Kumar Magotra (President of Swami Nitya Nand Association) Parshotam Kumar Mengi, Parshotam Kumar Khajuria (Bittu), Mukersh Khajuria, Om Parkash Sanmotra, Naresh Kumar (Pappu Lakri) and other members of the Association.
Sharma informed the meeting that around 60 wrestlers from different states like Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, HP, Chandigarh in addition to various parts of the State viz Jammu, Kathua ,Udhampur, Reasi, Rajouri, Doda, Buddal, Kalakote, Moungri, Ramnagar, Roun Domail, Panthal, Pouni, Akhnoor, Panchari, Dangakote, Panjar, Kalsote, Batote, Ladha, Jasserkote, Sudhmahadev, J and K Police and Dansal are likely to participate in the Vishal Dangal.
Meanwhile, all the interested wrestlers of Jammu region have been asked to contact Shiv Kumar Sharma (94191 61880) for their entries in the Dangal.
