Pakistan again violates cease-fire; 4 Army men injured

RAJOURI: Tension along the Line of Control (LoC) escalated late Sunday evening after four Army men were injured in heavy Pak shelling in Rajouri sector.
The Indian side was giving them befitting reply to silence their guns.
Spokesman of the Indian army tweeted,” four soldiers were injured in heavy Pak firing in Rajouri sector. The Indian side is responding appropriately”.
According to reports, Pak army resorted to ‘unprovoked’ firing in Balakote sector of Poonch at around 8.50 PM using mortars and automatic weapons.
Later, Pak army opened firing in Rajouri sector using long range mortars and heavy calibre weapons”.
The firing which started around 8.50 PM was going on till the time of filing the report.
Indian side was giving befitting reply in response to intense shelling from the Pak side.

JAMMU: In the context of the continuing Ceasefire violations across the IB and LoC and other developments in the recent days, the Northern Army Commander, Lt Gen D.S Hooda and Governor N.N Vohra held extensive discussions here on Sunday. They also discussed the Security challenges in the hinterland and the nature of effective actions required to be taken by the security forces to enable restoration of complete normalcy in the State.
