SRINAGAR: A day after three BSF jawans were ambushed by unidentified militants in Bijbehara area of Anantnag district, a group of BJP MLAs led by Ravinder Raina on Saturday raised anti-Pakistan slogans on the floor of the Assembly demanding firm response against the neigbouring country.
Soon after the house reconvened, the BJP MLAs stood up and started raising anti-Pak slogans.
Amid noisy scenes BJP MLA Ravinder Raina also raised the demand before the Speaker of the Assembly to condemn the cowardly act of targeting BSF jawans and pass a resolution on behalf of the lower house. While Speaker Kavinder Gupta was listening to his passionate appeal, slogans ‘Pakistan Murdabad’ echoed in the state assembly.
Raina also demanded that the government should give free hand to the Indian  army to carry out raids on terror training camps inside POK to dismantle them. He said Indian army should conduct operations in the same manner like NATO forces carried drone attacks on Taliban, al Qaida and ISIS.
Raina said patience of India is running thin and we cannot tolerate these attacks now. This is too much.
“We should teach Pakistan a befitting lesson so that its coming generations will never think of India”, he added. Sensing the mood of the agitated BJP legislators, the Speaker paid rich tributes to the martyrs and praised valiant Jawans of Indian Army, paramilitary forces and JKP and condemned Pakistan for sponsoring terrorism.
