Outstanding EPFO employee got acknowledged for best employee in service category at National Level

JAMMU: Sanjeev Kumar, Senior Social Security Assistant was acknowledged by EPFO who got the award for best employee in service category at national level. He processed 903 Claims in a single day on March 25, 2024 and then 918 claims in a single day on August 26, 2024 and later on has achieved the target of 1124 claims in a single day on September 16, 2024 which has also provided motivation to other Dealing Assistants who has also increased their daily performance.

On various occasions, Sanjeev Kumar, Sr. SSA has risen up to the occasion and has been helping many of colleagues, despite his own work.
Ashwani Gaind, Programmer, was also acknowledged for his contribution in the multi-tasking work in the Office and has taken up the responsibilities, beyond duty hours and T. Shiva Murthy, AO for highest settlement at supervisory level.
The P F Commissioner, Rizwan Uddin acknowledging the contribution and apprised the proactive role played by these Officials not only creates positive vibes, besides providing timely relief to the needy subscribers, who prefer claims for advances and final settlements.
He personally believes in volunteerism and the team building initiatives have yielded positive results, boosting elated morale, a robust responsibility Index, improved coordination, and affiliation.
On the occasion, Ajit Kumar Mishra, RPFC-II also acknowledged and appreciated the team work of the officials.
The P F Commissioner also appreciated the contribution of volunteers like Nawaz, working as Guard, who was acknowledged for his contribution in the multi-tasking work in the Office.
Pension is most relevant form of “social security” for employees and their family members in times of need and eventualities. EPFO Regional Office, Jammu has initiated the process of settlement of Pension claims from the offices of Jammu and Kashmir itself. In some of the cases pension is being disbursed to widow and family members of even such members in respect of whom Pension contribution equivalent to one month pension has been remitted by Employer.
Rizwan Uddin, Regional P.F. Commissioner distributed the PPOs to the Pensioners who visited Regional Office, Jammu.
Working towards ensuring social security to all the eligible members and their family members, a team of Officers/officials from EPFO Regional Office Jammu under the leadership of Rizwan Uddin, , comprised of Ajit Kumar Mishra, RPFC-II, Satya Prakash, APFC and Pranav Gupta, ASO. Women/Family members of deceased employees are getting reasonable amounts as benefit of Employees’ Provident Fund, Employees’ Deposit linked Insurance and Employees Pension Scheme in J&K and Ladakh.
Special emphasis has been laid on settlement of death claims. Accordingly, multiple such claims have been processed and benefits provided to claimants.
Pension certificates were distributed to various pensioners namely, Prem Singh received amount of 139053, Jagdev Singh received amount of 76795, Joginder Kumar received amount of 37037, Rajinder Kour received amount of 168355 and Sukhvinder Kour received amount of 17642 and Manohar Lal Sharma received amount of 263595.
