JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) termed the final outcome of the Uttrakhand issue as a triumph of democracy, exposing the politics of BJP in the country.
Reacting over the final outcome of Uttrakhand issue, the jubilant Congress said that it is the vindication of the stand of the party.
“The outcome of the Uttrakhand issue, following proving majority by the Congress Government on the floor of the House and resultant restoration of the Harish Rawat Government by the Supreme Court, is a big victory for the democracy in the country and has exposed the politics of vendetta and misuse of authority by the BJP and Modi Govt,” JKPCC Chief Spokesman Ravinder Sharma said here today.
He said that the entire stand of the Congress and its change against BJP stand proved, once there was clear majority with the Rawat Government despite so many efforts of destabilization by the BJP.
This is a great moment for the democracy in the country and BJP leadership should learn lessons from this and stop using undemocratic means to attain there unachievable dream of Congress Mukt Bharat, he said.
JKPCC leadership has extended congratulations to the Congress High Command and entire leadership of the party and its cadres in the country for their battle for saving democracy and the upholding the supremacy of the Constitution in the country.
