An open letter to Chairman JK SSB
Dear Editor,
Advertisements for the post of teachers were made in 2012 and 2013 and many qualified candidates who applied for the Post of teachers and took their written tests in the month of September 2013 for Jammu Distt. and like wise in other districts of J and K State were called for interviews except those whose names were deleted in the second list and who approached the High Court. These candidates have never been called for interviews and instead their dates for interviews were postponed and till date no new dates were announced and with this the whole process of selection of teachers in district Jammu remained with-held for the reasons best known to the authority of the Service Selection Board (SSB) and with this two years have gone for the whole process but yet no result is there.
Besides, Assembly elections are also drawing near and Code of Conduct is expected any time. If the process of teachers appointment is with held under the Code of Conduct then there will be another delay of atleast one year and these teaches shall be at the tail of the seniority list in comparison to the teachers appointed in other districts.
The SSB authorities are therefore requested to conduct the interviews of the left out candidates at the earliest so that the deserving candidates can get the job at the earliest. They are further appealed to keep their seniority intact at par with other teachers so appointed in other districts if any.
