Despite a lapse of 11 months since Government of India has approved formula for one rank one pension and agreed to implement w.e.f. 1st April 2014 for which Rs. 1,500- crore are allotted, but neither any sort of notification nor revised pension tables according to the rank structure issued so far. Approx 14 lakhs armed forces pensioners/family pensioners are awaiting. It is also learnt that again promise has been made by the Defence Minister to see the result on this issue with in eight weeks. It is requested that during winter/budget session final disbursement order may be got issued to make the payment to settle the highly emotional issue.
