SUNDERBANI: Driver of a school bus was killed on Thursday in a head-on collision with a matador coming from the opposite side in village Kangri of Tehsil Sunderbani.
According to information the bus No JK11B-1642 of International Public High School Sunderbani which was on its way to village Beripattan from Sunderbani for boarding the students, collided with Matador bearing registration No JK02G-2111 at Kangri in which its driver was killed on the spot.
Immediately on receipt of information the Sunderbani Police rushed to the spot and shifted the body of driver Sanjay Kumar son of Inderjeet Sharma resident of village Thichka, to Sub District Hospital Sunderbani for postmortem. His body was later handed over to his family members after autopsy.
Sources said that there was thick fog due to which the road was not clearly visible. The police have registered a case for investigation.
