POONCH: One person was killed on the spot and another person was seriously injured when a tractor overturned while working in the fields in village Fazlabad, Tehsil Surankote, district Poonch on Friday.
The villagers immediately shifted the victims to District Hospital Poonch where the doctors declared driver of the tractor Safir Ahmed (24) son of Mir Hussain resident of Fazlabad, Tehsil Surankot while Mohd Khurshid (40) son of Qamar Din resident of Lassana was admitted in the hospital
The District Development Commissioner Poonch Nissar Ahmed Wani also reached the hospital and paid a financial relief of Rs 20,000 to the deceased out of Red Cross fund and Rs 5000 for injured person.
