RAJOURI: Police on Thursday arrested a drug peddler and recovered 100 gm Charas from his possession.
According to a report, a police party under the supervision of Dy.SP Ops. Iftkhar Ahmed and SHO Police Station Rajouri Inspr. Yashpaul Singh laid a Naka at Gujjar Mandi and intercepted an individual who was roaming in suspicious manner.
During his search, two Challian (sticks) of Charas weighing about 100gms were recovered from his possession. He was identified as Mohd Parvaiz son of Noor Hussain resident of Dodaj, Darhal.
A case under FIR No.242/2015 section 8/20/21/22 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Rajouri.
