REASI: Police on Wednesday arrested a person indulged illicit distillation and recovered 5 liters desi liquor from his possession.
As per the details, a specific information was received at Police Station Chassana that a person namely Dalair Singh son of Amar Singh resident of Dandakote Tehsil Chassana District Reasi is indulging in manufacturing of illicit liquor and is on way towards Chassana for its sale.
On this information, a police party led by Sub-Inspector Ranjeet Singh, SHO Police Station Chassana laid a naka at Kalikote.
During checking /frisking of Dalair Singh, five Litres Desi liquor was recovered from his possession. The accused person was arrested and case vide FIR No. 52/2016 under section 48-(A) Excise Act was registered at Police Station Chassana.
