DODA: Continuing its crackdown against the smugglers, Bhadarwah police recovered 42 nips of country made liquor in Kulsari area of District Doda on Thursday.
According to reports, the accused identified as Anil Kumar son of Nek Lal Rajput resident of Bharra, Bhalla, was nabbed on a tip off in Kulsari area on Bhadarwah-Doda road. SHO Bhadarwah Jatinder Sambyal said that, we got information about smuggling of Illicit liquor. SDPO Bhadarwah Brijesh Sharma constituted a team and a Naka was laid near Petrol Pump Kulsari. “During search of the accused, 42 nips of illicit liquor was recovered from his possession, which he confessed was meant for selling in his native village Bhalla,” SHO added.
Meanwhile a case FIR No 14/2017 under section 48-A Excise Act was registered against the accused at Police Station Bhadarwah.
