In a tragic incident, Udhampur youth got killed when a vehicle he was driving skidded off the road and fell into deep gorge at Assar area of Doda on Sunday.
According to police, An Alto car (JK02AW-9356) was on it’s way from Kishtwar to Udhampur, when reached near Assar, the driver lost control and vehicle skidded off the road and fell into deep gorge, resulting serious injuries to it’s owner, who was driving the car.
Police and locals rushed to the spot and shifted him to nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
According to reports, the deceased was CISF jawan posted in Kishtwar. He was on way to home as his father was expired some days ago.
The deceased has been identified as Mohd Jaan (32) S/O Sultan Choudhary R/O Kora Udhampur.
