KATRA: Police on Saturday arrested a bootlegger and recovered 39 pouches of liquor from his possession.
According to a report, acting on a specific input, a police team headed by Inspector Sanjeev Sharma, SHO Police Station Katra intercepted a pedestrian Mukesh Kumar son of Mohan Lal resident of Pura Chak Tehsil Satwari District Jammu on way from Jammu towards Katra. During his search, police recovered 39 pouches of J and K Excise Liquor from his possession. The accused person has been arrested and a case FIR No. 108/2016 U/S 48-A Excise Act, 188/RPC was registered at Police Station Katra.
