KATRA: Hardeep, the first Indian Greco-Roman wrestler to secure an Olympic berth after 2004 Athens Games in Asian Olympic Qualification and Arjun Awardee 21-year old Wrestler Bajrang Punia, on Sunday paid visit to Vaishno Devi Shrine to seek blessings of Maa Vaishno Devi for winning gold medal in coming Rio Olympics.
Later, in a function organized here, J and K Indian Style Wrestling Association under the chairmanship of its President Shiv Kumar Sharma facilitated Wrestler Hardeep and Bajrang by honouring them Mata Ki Chunni and mementos at the base camp of Vaishno Devi.
Amongst them other two National Championship Wrestlers Natin Rathi and Amit were also facilitated on the occasion.
Shiv Kumar Sharma, who is also Treasurer Indian Style Wrestling Association of India and Associate Vice-President Wrestling Federation of India, also wished them good luck for their future endeavours.
