NYK delegation calls on Kavinder, seeks hike in honorarium
‘BJYM’s approach holistic, people centric’

JAMMU: A delegation of Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) met senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta, and highlighted demands including hike in honorarium.
The delegation urged the BJP stalwart leader to forward their plight before the concerned authorities as they are being paid meager salary, which is not enough to even ensure two times bread and butter. The delegation members said that their future seems to be bleak as no one is taking care of their needs in these times of high inflation. After giving a patient hearing to the delegation members, Kavinder assured to take up the matter with concerned quarters and pursue it till the time the same reaches its logical conclusion.
Meanwhile, Kavinder addressed BJYM Sammelan here at Katra.
Tejaswi Surya, MP and BJYM National President and Arun Prabhat BJYM President J&K and party cadre were also present.
Kavinder applauded the BJYM members for their holistic approach in carrying out their political obligations and helping the society as and when the requirement arises. He asked the BJYM members to continue with the good work as their public friendly gestures contribute much in strengthening the party at the grass-root level.
Kavinder said that people centric policies and schemes by the Modi Government have gone down well among the electorate as the same were without any prejudice or discrimination touching all the sections of people in J&K. He said that the endeavours of BJP Government have increased manifold times the inclination of the people towards the party and vote share is expected to swell in the coming times, which shall be testified in the upcoming political contests in the Union Territory.
