JAMMU: Rajiv Gandhi College of Nursing, an institution offering B.Sc Nursing course for the last five years is observing Nurses’ Week from 4th to 12th May, 2015.
The week is celebrated in the memory of Florence Nightingale for her lasting contribution and role in founding the modern nursing profession. She set an example of compassion, commitment to patient care and diligent and thoughtful hospital administration.
The event was flagged off by Johny Kutty Joseph, Vice Principal of the college. On 4th May, the events such as bouquet making, Rangoli, essay writing, hair style making for boys and girls, pot painting and water colour painting competitions were conducted.
