THANAMANDI: Ten days winter camp of National Service Scheme of NSS Unit of Government Degree College Thannamandi concluded here on Tuesday.
In this connection, a valedictory function was organised in which Dr. B.B Sharma, Principal of the College, was the Chief Guest.
During the camp, a cleanliness drive was organised and a lecture on ‘Importance of Internet’ was delivered by Rakesh, Lecturer in Computer Application besides song competition, essay competition on topic ‘Ill effects of drug addiction’, quiz, display your talent and painting competition on topic ‘Conservation of Environment’ were also organised.
Sajjad Lecturer Islamic Studies presented a poem on the work done by NSS volunteers during the camp.
Dr Sharma appreciated the efforts of NSS unit in honing the skills of volunteers through social service. Programme Officer, NSS, Prof. Saleem Ayaz Rather presented the vote of thanks.
