NPSU women wing slams BJP on surrendering AIIMS
STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: Lambasting the surrenders of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) before its coalition partner PDP at the cost of the aspirations of the people of Jammu Pradesh, NPSU Women Wing led by State President NPSU Thakur Virender Singh and activists carried bangles to be given to Dy. CM and other BJP MLAs for their political silence.
While setting a blaze the effigy of Dy. CM, Virender Singh said that the saffron party has failed to live up to the expectations of the people and by surrendering a premier health institute AIIMS to Kashmir it has been proved that the saffron brigade is only hungry for power.
The youth leader disclosed that the people of Jammu had voted overwhelmingly in favour of BJP in the Assembly elections and elected 25 MLAs with the expectations that they would represent the plight and miseries of the people of Jammu Pradesh besides the socio-political discrimination doled out to the Dogras.
He questioned the relevance of all those tall grandiloquent promises and announcements made to the people by the stalwarts of BJP ahead of Assembly elections.
Virender said that all these promises merely proved to be rhetoric and hyperboles hoodwinking the gullible people of Jammu region.
Thakur asserted that the 25 packets of bangles and cosmetic repertoire shall be parceled to the Dy. CM and other BJP MLAs as the protest against the pusillanimous surrender of the saffron brigade just to keep the Kashmiri leaders in good humour.
He said that the BJP has entered into the worst ever ‘political debauchery’ with PDP just to enjoy the honeymoon with their ministerial berths by forgetting the aspirations of the people of Jammu region.
Virender lambasted the BJP for issuing incongruous and cacophonic statements on the issue of AIIMS just to befool the people and divert their attention from the Jammu centric promises. He deplored the recent statement of State President BJP and MP Jugal Kishore that the Bandh call given by the ACC is irrelevant as the AIIMS belonged only to Jammu.
He cautioned the BJP to refrain from issuing such ambiguous statements and befooling people or else NPSU shall Gherao the BJP MPs and MLAs and expose and depose them besides unveiling their malafide intentions towards Jammu region.
NPSU extended its full support to AIIMS CC Jammu Bandh call on 19, 20, 21 June 2015 and assured the representative of the civil society that NPSU has been able to mobilize and galvanize the entire students fraternity of Jammu region to make this Jammu Bandh call successful at all costs.
