NPP’s Panchayat Chalo Abhiyan begins

KATHUA: Reiterating the commitment made with the people of Jammu region, ex-MLA and NPP President Balwant Singh Mankotia along with party leaders started the ‘Panchayat Chalo Abhiyan’ for separate Jammu state demand from Lakhanpur of Kathua district on Friday. He appealed to the people to support the demand for seeking right and justice for the educated youth of Jammu region.
Launching the second phase of separate Jammu State demand movement from gateway of State, Mankotia claimed that political parties have ditched the mandate of Jammu and surrendered the aspirations of people who voted whole heartedly for seeking justice and equality in state.
After starting the Panchayat Chalo Abhiyan from Lakhanpur, Mankotia addressed a large gathering at Hatli Panchayat of Basohli Constituency.
He cautioned the people that political parties deceived the nationalist people of Jammu region for sake of power and now time has come to launch a decisive movement for separate Jammu state to end discrimination in education, employment, political and development sector.
Expressing deep concern with the unemployed educated youth of Jammu region, Balwant Singh Mankotia claimed that discrimination in education, employment, development can be ended after the formation of separate Jammu state. If people want to secure the future of their wards and coming generations, support of general masses is required for the formation of separate Jammu state .
Balwant Singh appealed to the people to whole heartedly support the Panchayat Chalo Abhiyan of National Panthers Party for separate Jammu state demand which will conclude in October 2018 to seek justice and right in employment, development and political empowerment of Jammu region. On this occasion Rajesh Padgotra, Robin Sharma, Ramesh Gupta and Balbir Singh also accompanied the state president on the start of Panchayat Chalo Abhiyan.
