RAJOURI: Nowshera Football Club defeated Monster Darhal to consolidate their position in the ongoing J&K Sports Council Premier League being held in four disciplines with other three being Kabaddi, Volleyball and Hockey at Sports Stadium, here today.
In Volleyball, the organising committee conducted six matches while two matches decided in Hockey. Four matches played in Kabaddi that too on mats.
For Rajouri Premier League, Manager Sports Stadium, Rajouri and senior Volleyball coach, Bashir Ahmed has been made organising secretary.
VOLLEYBALL: In Volleyball, Haricain Club and Asan Club were among the winners. The Results: Haricain bt Choudhary 3-0; Asan bt Ajmar 3-0; Choudhary Club bt Khan Club 3-0; Haricain bt Ajmer 3-0; Asan bt Khan Club 2-0 and Ajmer Club bt Choudhary Club 3-2.
HOCKEY: Rajouri Red and Rajouri Blue won their respective matches. The Results: Rajouri Red bt Rajouri Yellow; Rajouri Blue bt Rajouri Red.
KABADDI: Locals admired the Kabaddi competition being held on mats for the first time in district Rajouri. Four matches decided on day-two of the competition today. The Results: Ajmer 7 Star bt MM Wild Bulls by 40 pts; Ajmeer 7 Stars bt Palma Club by eight pts; Saj Club bt MM Wild Bulls by 16 pts; Saj Club bt Asan Club by 24 pts.
