Novelty Club wins Srinagar Football league tie

JAMMU: Novelty Club emerged 1-0 winner against JKSC Academy in the ongoing District Srinagar Premier League, organised by J&K Sports Council (JKSC) at Synthetic Turf, Srinagar on Tuesday.
In kabaddi, three matches decided at Indoor Hall Polo Ground, here. In the first match, Acme Sports Academy beat Snow Poultry Club 54:24 while Hussaine Sports Club beat Angles Mission Kabaddi Club 35:20. The third match won by Aakash Enterprises, who defeated Heaven Look 35:27.
Meanwhile, due to the rains, no match could take place in the disciplines of volleyball and hockey.
The sports leagues in four disciplines of football, kabaddi, volleyball and hockey are being organised in collaboration with respective sports associations of the Union Territory of J&K.
