JAMMU: Shiv Sena (Bala Sahib Thackery) today appealed to State as well as Central Government not to impose any type of tax on Amarnath Yatris.
In a press statement issued today, Shiv Sena State Chief, Dimpy Kohli said that few days back his party has submitted a memorandum to Governor N.N Vohra to give more facilities to Amarnath Yatris and not to impose any type of tax on them. He said out of seven demands government has conceded their four demands and three demands are still pending adding that he has also raised this important issue regarding Amarnath Yatra with the party Member Parliament Chandrakant Khare to provide security cover to the tune of Rs 20 lakh per Yatri.
