Nirmal discusses overall J&K scenario with Amit Shah

NEW DELHI: Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh on Thursday met BJP National President Amit Shah in the Union capital and discussed overall situation prevailing in Jammu and Kashmir with focus on Article 35A.
According to sources, the Deputy CM called on Shah and briefed him about the latest political developments in the state, especially in the back drop of sequence of events taking place over heated debate on Article 35A.
Sources informed that Deputy Chief Minister gave detailed projection of current security situation in J&K especially in Valley with regard to major offensive launched against terrorists and infiltrators. “Currently, ultras are running for life as upbeat security forces are targeting the terrorists with precision”, Nirmal Singh told Shah.
Dr Nirmal Singh also congratulated Amit Shah on being elected as Member Parliament. He wished him all the success in his new role as a parliamentarian.
