Nine injured in matador-truck collision

UDHAMPUR: Nine persons got injured on Wednesday when the matador in which they were travelling met head-on with a truck near Battal Morh in Udhampur.
According to a report, a Matador (JK14C-8119) collided head-on with a truck (Jk14A-7267 ) which was on its way to Kathua from Udhampur near Battal Morh in Tehsil Majalta in Udhampur resulting in nine persons getting injured. Injured were identified as Jeet Singh son of Hari Singh resident of Battal, Jitender Singh son of Chain Singh, Tilak Raj son of Kuldip Singh, Om Prakash son of Beli Ram, Mahinder Lal son of Mast Ram all residents of Majalta, Ratni Devi wife of Soba Ram and Soba Ram son of Greebu resident of Katheel, Angrej Chand son of Amru and Babita daughter of Angrej Chand resident of village Plater.
All injured were shifted to PHC from where four persons were further referred to District Hospital Udhampur. Majalta Police has registered a case and launched the investigation.
