Nine bovines rescued, two smugglers arrested

SUNDERBANI: Police foiled two bovine smuggling bids by rescuing nine bovines and arresting two bovine smugglers at Sunderbani.
According to a report, Rajouri Police led by In-Charge Police Post Chingus SI Mohd Rafiq under the supervision of SHO Police Station Rajouri inspector Chaman Gorkha, during intervening night 16th -17th April on a specific information laid Naka at Kallar, Chingus. During Naka, police seized a Tata mobile bearing registration No. JK02AC-4752 and rescued seven bovines; however smugglers fled away from the spot taking the advantage of darkness.
A case vide FIR No.189/2016 under section 188 RPC, 3 PCA was registered at Police Station Rajouri and investigation is going on.
Similarly, SHO Police Station Dharamsal Inspr Darshan Singh during intervening night 16th -17th Aprril laid a Naka at Solki Dharamsal and seized a Tata Mobile bearing registration No. JK02AP-0649 and rescued two bovines. Two smugglers were arrested who were identified as Shakoor Ahmed son of Munir Hussain resident of Channi and Mohd Azam son of Salam Din resident of Jangral, Teryath.
A case vide FIR No.26 /2016 under section 188 RPC, 3 PCA was registered at Police Station Dharamsal.
