JAMMU: NHPC Regional Office, Jammu organized the World Blood Donor Day on Tuesday at the office premises at Narwal. On this occasion, Rajan Kumar, Executive Director, NHPC Regional Office, Jammu in his address said that blood donation is a virtuous work and if you donate blood, you help save the lives of many patients and you become a true saviour of humanity. We should look up to the people doing this noble work as role models and we should take inspiration from them. We all should be partners in this noble cause.
On this occasion, gratitude was expressed to the blood donors for the noble work done by them. They were honoured. A presentation on the importance of blood donation was given by Dr. Karmaveer Hans, Sr. DCMO, RO, Jammu.
On this holy day all employees took oath to donate blood and to make others aware about blood donation. On this occasion P. Sathyamurthy, General Manager (HR), S.K Jena, General Manager (Finance), R. S Rathi, CMO, senior officers & employees were also present.
