JAMMU: A convention of National Health Mission (NHM) was held here on Friday in which contractual employees of NHM participated.
President JKMEF, Dharminder Singh Bhargav presided over the convention. Employees of the Akhnoor Block working under NHM Scheme unanimously passed the resolution and demanded salary of NHM employees be raised 20 per cent annually, preparation of seniority list of NHM employees, regularisation of NHM employees through Service Selection Board on seniority and merit basis, deduction of 10 per cent salary on pattern of NPS, deduction of salary for ESI etc.
During the convention, a block level body was elected in which Ajay Seth was elected as President, Keshav Gupta as General Secretary, Reva Sharma as Senior Vice President, Bandu Sharma, Rakesh Kumar, Renu Bala as Vice President and Lata Kumari as Cashier.
