Through your esteemed daily, I would like to highlight that traffic at Samba Bus Stand located at National Highway is really an accident prone zone.
Everyday three to four accidents occure at this spot, crossing point of Bus Stand, which have become havoc for pedestrians/light vechicles etc. At this spot eight roads are meeting from different directions.
Large number of Rehries on bothsides of road occupied the spaces by which the number of accidents is increasing day by day.
Last month five to six persons were killed at this crossing. The slope/gradient of the existing road is too much resulting that the loaded vechicles coming from Pathankot side cannot be controlled.
There is no Passanger Shed for the passangers, the passanger catches buses by running to take their seats. Which is also are cause of accident. It is very difficult for old men and children to take bus at morning for their school/colleges.
In view of the above facts, we all senior citizens would request the concerned authorities that day to day increase of traffic at Bus Stand Chowk, a flyover be constructed on top priority to avoid further accident/deaths at this Chowk. We hope, the concerned authority will look into this matter and a proper bus stand with shed for passangers be also constructed.
