NGISM employees repose faith in incumbent DG

JAMMU: Non-Gazetted Indian System of Medicines (NGISM) Employees Welfare Association highlighted the achievements of the Department claiming that the whatsoever progress has been made is because of the tireless efforts of Dr. Abdul Kabir Dar, Director General ISM.
The handout of the Association stated that some unscrupulous elements who are not happy with the efficient working of the Department have unleashed propaganda against the department. The Association stated that during Dr. Abdul Kabir Dar’s tenure two Government Medical Colleges (Ayurvedic and Unani), two Ayurvedic Hospitals, 30 ISM Institutions under NABARD, seven ISM Dispensaries in 2015-16 were set up besides land for establishment of new offices of the Department has also been acquired. The Association further highlighted that it is only for the first time till date that rules of the Department have been framed and rank promotions implemented in the Department.
The Association said that Dr. Abdul Kabir Dar is an honest, dynamic and dedicated officer, and to malign his image, false allegations of substandard medicines have been leveled but the fact is that the medicines are of very high quality and the public is getting benefit from these medicines available in dispensaries. The Association appealed that since the Department is working without Director General ISM and therefore the enquiry if any be completed at the earliest so that work do not get hampered.
