DRABSHALLAH: Naib Tehsildar, Jagdish Kumar on Friday assumed the office of newly created Nayabat at Balgran area of district Kishtwar in the presence of large number of people. Tehsildar Drabshallah Niaz Ahmed Wani, ZEO Drabshallah Seva Ram, Sarpanch Association Drabshallah Block Mohd Iqbal Keen, Junior Engineer Irshad Ahmed, Girdawars, Patwaris and other officers accompanied the newly appointed Naib Tehsildar.
People at Balgran distributed sweets and danced to the beats of Dhols and claronett to celebrate this historic decision.
While addressing the gathering Naib Tehsildar of Balgran said he will work with zeal, enthusiasm and dedication for redressal of general demands of public of Balgran area. On the occasion he highlighted the programmes of the government and made them aware of various schemes. He said people of Balgran are lucky which got the status of Nayabat due to hard work of local MLA G.M Saroori.
In his address Tehsildar Drabshallah, Niaz Ahmed Wani said that by opening of new Nayabat at Balgran problem faced by the local people will be addressed at door step, beside will help in smooth disbursement of compensation and other revenue activities in this backward and hilly area of Kishtwar District.
Many speakers including Mohd Iqbal Keen, Choudhary Ghulam Mohd Masoodi, Khalid Hussain Sheikh, Master Maan Singh, Master Mir Ali, Somi Raj, Naib Chand, Chand Lal, Kareem Maksh, Mohd Issaq, Sushil Kumar, Kunji Lal, Satish Kumar, Rajinder Kumar, Girdari Lal, Chaman Lal, Pardeep Kumar, Somi Raj, Choudhary Noor Din and others addressed the gathering and said that whole Drabshallah and Bunjwah areas which needs focused attention of the planners for its speedy socio-economic transformation started by the Ghulam Mohammad Saroori. They said by opening of Nayabat at Balgran area it would be a turning point as far as socio-economic advancement of the people of Balgran area is concerned besides will help the people to get solutions of their problems at their door steps.
The speakers and people of the Drabshallah and Bunjwah areas also hailed the efforts of MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori in convincing the government for creation of separate Tehsil for Drabshallah, Bunjwah, Nayabats for Patnazi, Balgran, Kandoth, Lass, Tatani, beside Patwar Halqas for every Panchayat which was long pending demand of the local people who faced a lot of problems. They have also thanked MLA Inderwal G.M Saroori, Baloria and Mushtaq Ganie Committee’s for taking initiative in creatiing new administrative units in Inderwal Constituency.
