New Star Club thrashes Bharat Club by 141 runs

JAMMU: New Star Cricket Club (NSCC) thrashed Bharat Cricket Club (BCC) easily by 141 runs to move into the next round of the ongoing First Pink Ball Cricket Tournament for KPs, being organised by Krish Sports and Events Reasi at KC Sports Club, here on Saturday.
Earlier, batting first, NSCC managed to score 174 for the loss of six wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Rahul played a brilliant inning of 101 runs off 51 balls with the help of nine sixes and five fours. Vishal Kanth and Shishu made 24 and 13 runs respectively.
Vikram Handoo and Romil Koul shared two wickets each while Rakesh Tickoo took one.
In reply, BCC Reasi failed to face the bowling attack of opponent and was bowled out for 33 runs in 14.1 overs.
Karan was the only batsman who touched double figures with 10 runs while Manish added five runs to the total. Ishan, with his tight bowling, clinched five wickets giving seven runs in 3-1 overs. Rahul Mussa took two wickets.
For his all-round performance, Rahul Mussa was declared Man of the Match. The match was officiated by Rakesh and Sunny as umpires while fiaz acted as scorer.
In today’s match Anil Razdan from LIC of India was the chief guest, who interacted with players and encouraged them to take part in sports activities regularly for maintaining their fitness.
