JAMMU: Beating Army Public School (APS) Kaluchak 2-1, New National Higher Secondary School (HSS) Tali Morh Miran Sahib bagged the hockey title in the annual inter-school under-19 boys competitions of Jammu District held under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at KK Hakku Stadium, here on Tuesday. Earlier, in the semifinal, played today, APS Kaluchak defeated Government Boys Higher Secondary School Gandhi Nagar 3-0.
BASKETBALL: Meanwhile, in under-19 boys basketball event, APS Kaluchak shall take on Jodhamal Public School in the final scheduled for tomorrow at MA Stadium, here. Earlier, in the semifinals, decided today, APS Kaluchak beat MHAC Nagbani 20-09 while Jodhamal trounced SOS School 21-05 in a one-sided affair. Vishal Bharti, Vaneet and Amit Kalsi were the technical officials.
