POONCH: Nehru Yuva Kendra Poonch Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Govt. of India.In collaboration with Indian Youth Development Forum Poonch organising seven day long adventure camp under the guidance of Sukhdev Singh Zonal Director NYKs J and K State, Jammu Zone and Som Dutt Zard District Youth Coordinator Nehru Yuva Kendra Poonch and twenty five participants from four districts Jammu, Kathua, Rajouri, Poonch participated in this camp which was declared open by Pardeep Sharma Senior BJP Leader Poonch who also flagged off the adventure camp proceeding to Loran. The participants went through various activities like rock climbing besides every day cleanliness drives, activities of special session of educating and motivating the participants about the flagship programmes including Pardhan Mantri Jhandhan Yojana, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’s importance and construction of toilets in rural area under Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan and devoting 100 hours per year for Shramdhan were also organised with the help of expert resource persons.
ACD Bashrat Hussain delivered a lecture on construction of toilet under Swachh Bharat Mission . Shamim Bandhey also delivered a lecture on cleanness drive. K.K Sharma representative of NYK Poonch, Mohd Shafiq President of Indian Youth Development Forum, Sudesh Gupta President Nation First Society J and K and Nitin Banotra were also present.
The participants of adventure camp will visit and feel the experience of seen Indo-Pak trade center Chakan-Da-Bagh, Nandi Shool water fall, Dargha of Sain Illahi Baksh at loran, Shri Buddha Amarnath Shrine Mandi, Gurudwara Nangali Sahib, Saloonia, Noorpur and Dargah of Sain Miran Sahib Shahpur and natural beauty of the area of Poonch.
